From our first call, to the first meeting with Epson,your Service Tech, to the install work being done, we were very impressed with all aspects of dealing with Grogg... Service Tech Epson answered all our questions, and explained exactly what was needed and how much it would cost.
Geothermal Heat Pump System Installation: In response to a residential client's commitment to sustainable living, our skilled technicians expertly executed the installation of a geothermal heat pump system. This advanced and eco-friendly solution harnesses the Earth's natural energy to provide the homeowner with highly efficient and cost-effective climate control throughout their entire residence. The installation involved careful positioning and integration of the system components, ensuring optimal functionality and long-term sustainability for the client's heating and cooling needs.
Lennox furnace and York a/c system using Lennox/Honeywell 16x25x5 filter (4” wide if other branding) and AA600 humidifier. Changed AA35 water panel, all other checks good at this time. Customer will renew Cozy HVAC Plus plan today.
Customer said ac was not coming on. Arrived to find stat turned off. Turned back on. Also found wadsworth breaker tripped. Reset breaker. Unit came on. Contactor made a very loud humming noise and was very rusty. Terminals on capacitor were very rusty. Spade connectors were cracking and rusted. These would have stressed the system causing the breaker to trip. Replaced and fixed all of this. Confirmed operation. 11 SH, 9 SC, 23 temp drop.
There is no voltage coming out of Generac module. Customer will need to call their electrician to service the Generac as it is out of my jurisdiction.
All checks good on hvac maintenance. Changed air filter
Performed cooling check. Everything looks good and system is operating as it should. Installed surge protectors to help protect equipment. Confirmed operation.
2022 Ruud split system using washable 16x20x1 filter. All checks good at this time. Customer has 10and10 warranty for equipment but would not like to add a maintenance cozy plan at this time.
Ustomer said ac was not coming on. Found contactor stuck. Tapped on it and came right on. Cycled off and on 2 more times. Came on without fail. Unit is an old luxaire with r22. Confirmed good temp drop and operation.
Replaced failed condenser fan motor and capacitor under warranty. Installed surge protector and did cooling maintenance today. Discussed with customer the benefits or adding an air cleaner to their system.
Dead capacitor and bad contactor on ac unit. Cracked heat exchanger on furnace. Compressor on ac unit is still having issues with the ac running at almost equal pressures. Ac and furnace are both 2004 trane. Estimate for replacement is set for tomorrow between 3-5pm.
2019 Heil split system w/AA413 filter. All checks good at this time, customer has monthly Cozy plan and does not need to renew.
(2) Heil split systems both using Aaa413 filters. Replaced filters. All checks good at this time. Customer not set to renew until April 2024
Did cooling maintenance today. Did not have 413 filter today. Furnace has been down for months due to gas situation and parts had not been ordered yet. Accessed situation and put an order in for parts. Once parts are replaced the heating maintenance can be completed. Need to bring a filter on return visit.
2012 heil ac wasn’t running because the disconnect was not fully seated. Panel to disconnect was hanging halfway off. Customer thinks the dogs may have been playing around it and knocked it loose, also Not sure if high wind was the culprit. Secured plug and panel for disconnect. Unit is working again. Furnace that ac is tied to is 24 yrs old. Customer should plan on replacing unit due to age.
Performed maintenance on AC. Changed filter and verified working status of surge protection and REME Halo. All other checks were good. Renewed Cozy Home Plus agreement with customer.
